About Starz Dance Studio
Starz Dance Studio is proudly located in Brick, New Jersey. Founded in 2013 by Pat Smith, Starz was built on a vision of creating a positive, inspiring environment where children could not only learn to dance, but also grow in confidence, dream big, and achieve their goals.
In 2016, Stephanie DeAngelo purchased the studio and, over the next nine years, continued to grow and strengthen Starz Dance Studio, helping shape it into the thriving and respected program it is today. Her dedication and leadership played a significant role in elevating the studio and building a strong, supportive dance community.
In September 2025, Stephanie proudly passed the torch, selling the studio to Tara Russomanno. Today, under Tara’s direction, that original vision continues to flourish. She remains committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and loving atmosphere for every dancer who walks through the doors.
Starz Dance Studio offers both recreational and competitive programs, providing opportunities for dancers of all levels. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dance training while encouraging balance, ensuring our students excel in the studio while still enjoying a well-rounded childhood.
